About Campaign

ends 31 Dec 2023, 11:59 PM
YWCA of Singapore is holding its annual Flag Day on 16 September 2023 to raise funds for our various community services and programmes.

This year, we will run our #ServingHope campaign to showcase our work with our community and support our fundraising efforts. This campaign will run from August 2023 and conclude in December 2023. Every dollar raised will go towards supporting our YWCA Mums on their journey of empowerment, as well as providing the elderly, disabled and families in need with a warm meal, sustenance, and essential items. We are targeting to support 2,000 households this year. Every single contribution is precious in providing hope to each woman, child, elderly and family in need. Join us in giving hope: one meal at a time, one individual at a time, one family at a time.

All proceeds from YWCA Flag Day 2023 will be channelled to the YWCA's Community Services and Programmes. You may be pleased to know that all cash donations (above $50) are eligible for a 250% tax deduction. In addition, with every dollar you contribute, Tote Board will match it dollar-for-dollar. About the Charity

Founded in 1875, the Young Women's Christian Association (YWCA) of Singapore is a social service agency committed to serving those in need, regardless of race or religion. Our holistic programmes and services aim to empower and support women from low-income families by alleviating financial burdens and care-giving responsibilities. We strive to uplift the family unit, and to provide the right resources and opportunities to improve lives.

YWCA's community service programmes are supported by YWCA Fort Canning, our revenue-generating arm in hospitality. All net proceeds contribute towards our social initiatives such as Empowering Mums, Meals-on-Wheels, and Sustenance for Families.
