About Campaign

Volunteers are the heartbeat of YMCAs community service programmes. Through their dedication and service, they bring cheer and illuminate the lives of the less privileged whom they serve. In 2016, YMCA mobilised over 10,000 volunteers who touched the lives of more than 18,000 beneficiaries locally and overseas.

The YMCA-Lim Kim San Volunteers Programme was established in 2007 to promote volunteerism, including corporate volunteerism and develop the capability of YMCAs volunteers so as to serve the beneficiaries more effectively.

YMCA will be organising the 18th YMCA Charity Golf 2017 on 5 May at Singapore Island Country Club to raise funds for the YMCA-Lim Kim San Volunteers Programme.

About the Charity

*COVID-19 Update: Due to COVID-19, many vulnerable communities face new challenges. Fundraising has also become exceptionally difficult. We would like to make an appeal to all to join us in our efforts in reaching out during these tough times. Your donation will fund new initiatives and existing programmes that support these communities. Please read "Our Programmes" for more information on these programmes.

The YMCA of Singapore stands to champion, challenge and train youth to become independent and effective contributors to an inclusive society.

Our "YMCA Strong" campaign is a statement of our desired outcome for all we serve - to give our clients a hand up, not simply a handout, so that each one will be strengthened to reach their potential.

Our programmes range from training and employing youth with special needs to mobilising and training youth leaders and volunteers to serve the needy in society.

Fundraising can help to raise more and change more lives.
