In these unprecedented times due to COVID-19, YMCA is partnering with The Social Kitchen to provide free meals for needy children and their families affected by the crisis.
Every $5 donation will cover the costs of delivery, ingredients and meal preparation by our Y Cafe chefs. Please donate generously to ensure that our affected clients will not have to worry about having food on their tables in this difficult time.
We will be partnering with SHINE Children and Youth Services to reach out to other Social Service Agencies and identify those most in need.
Project Makan also partners Eat for Good, a collaborative initiative by NVPC's Company of Good that aims to bring stakeholders in the food and dining space together to make doing good a part of daily encounters. Read more about Eat for Good at https://www.companyofgood.sg/story/276

About the Charity
*COVID-19 Update: Due to COVID-19, many vulnerable communities face new challenges. Fundraising has also become exceptionally difficult. We would like to make an appeal to all to join us in our efforts in reaching out during these tough times. Your donation will fund new initiatives and existing programmes that support these communities. Please read "Our Programmes" for more information on these programmes.

The YMCA of Singapore stands to champion, challenge and train youth to become independent and effective contributors to an inclusive society.
Our "YMCA Strong" campaign is a statement of our desired outcome for all we serve - to give our clients a hand up, not simply a handout, so that each one will be strengthened to reach their potential.
Our programmes range from training and employing youth with special needs to mobilising and training youth leaders and volunteers to serve the needy in society.
