"Lower-wage workers have been hit hard by the fallout of Covid-19 pandemic", was the headlines of recent news. Unsurprisingly, a number of our low-income breadwinners lost their jobs or had their income severely disrupted during this crisis.

Yong-en is committed to doing our utmost best and coming alongside to ensure no one is left behind. Our Covid-19 Response II involves exploring initiatives that empowers our beneficiaries - such as providing and connecting impacted beneficiaries with reskilling, upskilling, job matching help, employable skills building, soft skills, financial literacy, healthcare support (treatment for underlying issues that inhibit employability), and even provision of befriending mentor volunteers. Yong-en will be collaborating with new and existing partners to deliver the above activities where it is not in our domain expertise. Many helping hands will produce a result greater than the sum of its parts.

Yong-en's Home Care professionals continue to serve home-bound seniors with essential nursing care, while bringing much needed company amid this time. Seniors with dementia are happily back to their usual cognitive stimulating environment at our day care centre, with their friends again. Active Ageing seniors are continuously enriched with activities via a safe virtual setting.

Our services are mainly sustained by kind public donations. May we continue to count on you to support our Covid-19 Response II efforts please? We thank you in advance.
