About Campaign
ends 30 Jun 2021, 11:59 PMWhile the outbreak of Covid-19 is under control in Singapore, the resultant impact of the economic and social dislocations from the pandemic continues to plague the disadvantaged individuals and families, and the elderly in our community.
Yong-en continues to journey alongside our beneficiaries to meet these changes and to forge ahead with hope, just as we have done in the last 25 years. We seek your support to sustain our journey with the beneficiaries that we serve.
The programmes that we offer seek to alleviate both sustenance issues and maintaining socio-psychological wellness. We provide food and hygiene item packs for healthier living, supporting affected families and single parent families with group support, counselling and case work. Yong-en also provides Dementia Day Care and Home Care medical services to allow seniors to age in place.
We are improving the seniors' digital literacy (especially for those who are more frail and home bound) to enhance inclusiveness in our upstream work of Active-ageing. We are also cognizant of our beneficiaries' psychological health and working with partners where professional intervention is needed.
May we invite you to play a part in improving the lives of the beneficiaries whom Yong-en serves? Donate now to make twice the impact! For every dollar donated, we will be receiving another another dollar matched by government funds (capped at $250,000).
Be the help that we need.
About the Charity
Yong-en is a registered charity affiliated with Fairfield Methodist Church. Our mission is to demonstrate God's love through person-centred care services to support the needs of the elderly, disadvantaged individuals and families in Chinatown and beyond.
We support our community through:
1) Family Support Service that comprises a combination of providing financial assistance and food distribution to the low income families in the short to medium term; and empowerment projects that need a longer period of intervention (i.e. Tuition and Bursary, Counselling, Support Groups, and Casework).
2) Dementia Day Care that cares for dementia clients and their caregivers;
3) Home Care that cater to the medical and nursing needs of the home bound and frail elderly; and
4) Active Ageing that promotes positive and healthy ageing.
Together with our partners, stakeholders, donors and volunteers, we forge ahead with hope to improving lives and impacting communities.
