About Us

The Woodbridge Hospital Charity Fund (WHCF), which was set up in 2000, is an Institution of a Public Character (IPC) and a registered charity (UEN: 201940371M) under the purview of the Ministry of Health. It was incorporated as a Company Limited by Guarantee (CLG) on 28 November 2019 to allow for better governance of the Fund, with greater statutory compliance and annual reporting requirements under the Companies Act. The WHCF makes a tangible difference to the lives of more than a thousand long-stay patients and more than 40,000 outpatients at the Institute of Mental Health. All donations will be eligible for 250% tax deduction.

Our Programmes

The Woodbridge Hospital Charity Fund (WHCF) supports hope, recovery and dignity for people living with mental health problems by funding various programmes that benefit persons with mental illness, their caregivers and family members, and the wider community. WHCF funded programmes include programmes that support mental health innovation and research, advocacy and education; patient welfare; caregiver support; and client rehabilitation and employment. WHCF also supports programmes that develop resilience in children and youth diagnosed with mental illness and the children of sufferers.
