About Us

World Wide Fund for Nature Singapore is the country's best known international conservation organization. Guided by scientific analysis and knowledge, we work to conserve species at risk, protect threatened habitats, transform businesses and address climate change in Singapore and beyond.

Our long-term vision is simple: to create a world where nature and people thrive.

WWF-Singapore has expertise in Conservation Science, Advocacy, Market Transformation, Sustainable Commodities, Sustainable Finance, and Education and Outreach. Our large-scale advocacy and market transformation activities focus on critical issues such as deforestation, plastics, haze, wildlife trafficking, and sustainable food, fishing and agri-systems.

Our Programmes

Our mission is to stop the degradation of the planet's natural environment and to build a future in which people live in harmony with nature, by conserving the world's biological diversity, ensuring that the use of renewable natural resources is sustainable and promoting the reduction of pollution and wasteful consumption.

In Singapore and the region, we work on priority conservation issues, bringing individuals, communities, businesses and governments together to enable change for a resilient future.

Our Work:

Climate Change
We engage with communities, leading businesses, and government leaders to prepare for inevitable change and to reduce the emissions that drive climate change.

Forests
We work to protect vital forest landscapes by halting deforestation, preventing fires and promoting sustainable production in forests across the Southeast Asian region.

Freshwater
We promote the conservation, integrated management and sustainable use of freshwater ecosystems.

Oceans
With global expertise, strong partnerships and a robust conservation strategy, we aim to ensure productive and resilient ocean ecosystems that sustain human well-being and conserve biodiversity.

Wildlife
We work closely with local communities, businesses and authorities to stop wildlife crime along the supply chain, from source to trade to point of sale.
