We run a number of programmes throughout the year to narrow the gender inequality gap, especially in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) fields.
Our flagship programme Girls2Pioneers, reaches out to girls (in particular, girls from disadvantaged and marginalised backgrounds) to encourage them to take up STEM subjects in their higher education and careers, paving the way for a more gender-equal society.
Since its inception in 2014, over 28,000 girls have participated in our Girls2Pioneers STEM programme. We have hosted field trips for hundreds of girls in collaboration with multi-national companies such as HP, Arup, Becton Dickinson and Intel to give them a first-hand exposure into a STEM-related workplace and help them gain a variety of hands-on experience such as building safe homes, cryptology, geo-mapping and many more.
Where will your donations go?
Donations will go towards the running of our Girls2Pioneers STEM programme, Anti-violence Initiatives and other local projects.
Your support will directly improve outcomes by closing the gender equality gap for women and girls in Singapore and beyond.
