How Your Donation Makes a Difference

About Us

All donations will be eligible for tax exemption and it will be included automatically in your tax assessment. Receipts will be mailed out for donations of $50 & above. For donations below $50, you may contact us at [email protected] if you require a copy. As Metta sees the importance in saving the environment, we are gradually going paperless for our receipts to all donors with effect from 1 April 2021 onwards. We thank you for your understanding to walk this journey together to protect the environment that we live in.

Founded in 1992 by Venerable Chao Khun Fa Zhao, Metta Welfare Association was registered as a charity in 1994. Endorsed by the MSF, MOH and MOE, we are a member of the National Council of Social Service, Singapore Hospice Council and Singapore Disability Sports Council.

Children Care
early intervention services for young children with learning difficulties

Disability Care
- residential care & respite care for adults with intellectual disabilities
- day activity care and training centres for adults with intellectual disabilities

Medical Care
- day rehabilitative services for elderly and stroke patients
- home nursing and home medical care for patients with chronic illnesses and organ failure
- home palliative care for patients with life limiting illness

Special Education
special education and vocational training for children with mild intellectual disability and/or autism

Youth Employment Support
vocational training and supported employment for youth with mild intellectual disability and/or autism

social services required by the community

Our Wish List

Book & Stationary

An electronic document shredder is much appreciated for the administrative staff at Metta Day Activity Centre for the Intellectually Disabled.

To prevent any outbreaks, we can only accept new items in unopened packaging.

Others

Metta Home for the Disabled & Day Activity Centre and Metta Day Activity Centre for the Intellectually Disabled requires the following for the clients:

1) Adult Diapers
2) Toothbrushes/toothpaste

Electronics

Metta Hospice Care and Metta Homecare requires Oxygen Concentrators (from Lifeline Corporation Pte Ltd) for their clients:

with the requirements that the machine
1) should not be more than 2 years old.
2) to be in good condition

if you have the machine, kindly deliver it to Metta Hospice Care at 32 Simei Street 1, Metta Building, Level 5, between Mon-Fri, 8.30am to 5.30pm.
