Diabetes Singapore is a charity with the status of Institutions of a Public Character (IPCs) affiliated to the International Diabetes Federation and the National Council of Social Service since 1971. Formerly known as the Diabetic Society of Singapore, the organisation provides health screenings, counselling and support to people with diabetes and their families as well as education to the wider community in order to empower Singaporeans to lead a healthy and productive life.
Diabetes Singapore is the only registered charity dedicated to diabetes management and education. It has provided more than 7,400 subsidised clinical services, including diabetes complications screenings to our beneficiaries and touched the lives of more than 9,000 people through outreach and programmes.
