About Us

Arts House Ltd (AHL) is a not-for-profit organisation committed to enriching lives through the arts. AHL is the cultural place manager of Singapore's Civic District. It manages 2 key national monuments - The Arts House and the Victoria Theatre & Victoria Concert Hall. It also runs performing arts space Drama Centre as well as the Goodman Arts Centre and Aliwal Arts Centre, two creative enclaves for artists, arts groups and creative businesses.

AHL organises the Singapore International Festival of Arts as well as the Singapore Writers Festival. In addition, AHL manages the showcase on Singapore's Cultural Medallion recipients at The Arts House.

AHL was set up on 11 December 2002 as a public company limited by guarantee under the National Arts Council and was officially renamed Arts House Limited on 19 March 2014.

Singapore International Festival of Arts
As Singapore's annual pinnacle performing arts festival, SIFA presents captivating and diverse works across theatre, music, dance, film and visual arts.

Singapore Writers Festival
SWF is a much anticipated event on the cultural calendar, presenting the world's major literary talents to Singaporeans while shining a spotlight on home grown and Southeast Asian creative talents.

Our Cultural Medallion Story
The Cultural Medallion recognises individuals whose artistic excellence, contribution and commitment to the arts have enriched and distinguished Singapore's arts and cultural landscape. Our CM Story at TAH celebrates the achievements of the over 120 Cultural Medallion award recipients through both physical and online presentations. The showcase is open daily and admission is free for all.

The Arts House
TAH is Singapore's oldest colonial building. Today, TAH continues to play an active role in the arts scene in Singapore. It is committed to promoting and presenting multi-disciplinary art forms.

Aliwal Arts Centre
Situated within the rich historic site of Kampung Gelam, AAC is a multi-disciplinary arts centre with a strong focus on performing arts.

Goodman Arts Centre
Singapore Tatler calls it the rare artistic hamlet. The centre is a youthful, energetic place with a wide range of arts offerings.
