About Us

aLife views every child from the moment of conception as a precious gift to be cherished and enjoyed by all. aLife is a secular, non-profit voluntary welfare organisation. It is committed to educating, advising and supporting women and their families on issues related to the unborn child and the mother's reproductive health.

All donations received will go toward supporting aLife's suite of programs listed below, as well as assist in funding our operational needs.

Our Programmes

Areas of services:

(i) ALMA (aLife Mothers' Assistance) Program-A holistic support system for new mothers who have financial difficulty providing basic necessities for their newborns;

(ii) ALBUM (aLife Befrienders of Beleaguered Mothers) Program-For women facing emotional distress from marriage, parenting difficulties, or any stressful situations;

(iii)The Caterpillar Club: A character- building enrichment and literacy programme for disadvantaged children aged 4-12 years, from low income/ dysfunctional households;

(iv) Family Counselling Services & Therapy Programs: Counselling for couples facing marital issues or couples having problems conceiving/ sexual problems; creative art and play therapy programs for children, youth and parents;

(v) SUPeRF (Support Unplanned Pregnancies Resource Facilitation) Pregnancy- related support, facilitation and emotional intervention for women in pregnancy crises;

(vi) Public education including Fertility Awareness, Marriage Preparation/ Enrichment courses and human sexuality education;

(vii) YALE (Youth @aLife Evolve) Program: a pilot mentor-ship programme for youth-at-risk aged 13-16 years;

(viii) BUDS (Best Buddy Support System)-For children & youth from low income or dysfunctional families who struggle socially can benefit from light educational assistance and mentorship;

(ix) Speakeasy & Readeasy Speech & Literacy Programs-For children (4 to 12 years old) from low-income households with speech, articulation and literacy issues;
