About the Activity
If you are an expert cake baker of professional quality and wish to bake a cake for Children's Homes in Singapore (orphanages, pre-fostercare centre, low income family centres etc), then we need you.
We have embarked on a project to sponsor a birthday cake a month for select Children's Homes on a monthly basis. The cake would be 2kg to 3kg (depending on the size of the home). The cakes need to be made with Halal ingredients or in Halal certified kitchen.
If you are keen, please register with your details. We will speak with you and check your bakes. If found suitable, we would add you to a WhatsApp group where we would post the needs of each month. If you have the bandwidth to bake, you can take up a bake from the list. It would be on flexible ad hoc terms.
If you are able to drive and deliver the cake or sponsor the delivery charges, indicate that as well. If you can't, indicate that too.

If you have indicated you can't support the delivery of the cake, you need to coordinate with the Big At Heart team for the delivery. The cake needs to be halal and professional quality. Cakes with icing or fondant - both are great. The images attached to this campaign are examples. If you wish to bake a small cake for cutting and remaining cupcakes, we are ok with that as well. Please discuss the same with the Big At Heart teammate who will be in touch with you.

Point to note
You will be added to a Big At Heart Volunteer Bakers WhatsApp group and need to be ok with that. You may not get to visit the children's homes and may not receive photos of the celebration as privacy concerns are high for these kids.
