We are looking for passionate individuals who enjoy working with children. Every weekend, we run different non-academic activities for kids and youth in arts, sports, life skills, field trips and more. Playmakers will help to facilitate these activities, engage the kids and help them with their homework.

Volunteer Positions
Junior Playmaker (Volunteer)
Skills required: Arts & Music, Coaching & Training, Volunteer Management, No Specific Skills Required Suitable for: Open to All, Organisation or Groups Min. age: 17
PURPOSE
Every weekend, our teachers need extra help in the classroom to care for high-needs students so that the class is conducive. This helps relieve teachers of the burden of engaging high-needs students to focus on most students.
KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Co-facilitate class with the main teacher
- Taking care of high-needs students
- Actively maintaining order in class to ensure a conducive learning environment for every student
- Assist in getting students to cooperate with the main teacher
- Preparing classroom materials
- Packing and cleaning of the centre
BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES
- Ability to speak in English
- Ability to read and write simple English
- Friendly, good listening and communication skills, caring nature
TIME COMMITMENT (Monthly)
275 Beach Road #03-00 (Look for the brown door, take the stairs up from L1 to L3)
Saturday, 9:30am - 5:30pm
Sunday, 9:30am - 5:30pm
We are open every weekend unless otherwise stated :)
DRESS CODE
As you will be working with children, Playmakers need to dress modestly (e.g. shirt and long pants / jeans).
