About the Activity

An art allows patients to express their feelings and trigger their creative side to showcase their talents. It is also to provide physical, social, cognitive and emotional benefits for our patients. During the sessions, it will boost patients mood and enhance their social interaction. We conduct activities such as drawing, colouring, calligraphy and beads making. Therefore, you play an important role to engage the patients to participate.

IMPORTANT: You must be comfortable to wheel patients

Skills required: No Specific Skills Required Suitable for: First Timers, Seniors, Open to All Min. age: 15
Befriend and accompany patients to create art pieces.

Your main role also includes portering patients to the activity area and back to their beds. Therefore, you MUST BE comfortable with wheeling patients on the wheelchair. We will conduct a briefing for first-time volunteers before the activity.

Point to note

1. You need to report at 2 pm for the first-time volunteer. Subsequently, please report at 2.30pm.
2. We also accept Value In Action (VIA) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project for this activity. Please email us to discuss further.
3. Please come in light as we do not have a locker for you to keep your stuff.
4. Casual attire is acceptable. No revealing clothes.
5. Successful sign up on Giving.sg serves as a confirmation. No confirmation email will be sent to you.
