About the Activity

The Early Learning Programme is a volunteer-based literacy and numeracy intervention programme for 6-7 year olds. These children come from underprivileged families that do not speak English at home and have fallen behind, even from preschool. Volunteers are trained by practitioners to build the children's literacy and numeracy foundations, and are also called to be positive role models for them.
