About Campaign

Cancer does not stop, even in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. It's made things even harder for kids with cancer--with compromised immunities, they've had to stay home since the beginning of the COVID-19 outbreak. They have been unable to go to school, meet friends, go outside, due to heightened risks from childhood cancer. It's even more important for them to stay home and practise social distancing!

This is why we need your help in putting together the VIVA Stay Home Pack. Show your support for children and families affected by childhood cancer as they stay at home during this difficult period.

Each pack will contain adult and children's masks for protection, books and activity materials to supplement home-based learning, toys and snacks to lift spirits.

VIVA has put together a series of online and virtual programmes to complement the care packs.

VIVA la Mondays
A live event every Monday to partner local artists to create music, dance, drawings, etc, based on submissions from kids with cancer

VIVA Daily Tips
A curated daily selection of online educational materials, resources, and videos aimed to bolster home-based learning

The VIVA - Red Pencil Art Therapy Programme
Art therapy sessions to empower kids and families with tools to express themselves to cope with the the trauma of cancer

Surplus funds raised for the VIVA Stay Home Pack will be diverted to VIVA's General Fund towards childhood cancer research, medical care, and education for kids with cancer.

About the Charity

The VIVA Foundation for Children with Cancer is a Singapore-based charity which focuses on saving the lives of more children with cancer by improving research, medical care and education.

Among the many illnesses and problems in the world, childhood cancer may not get the most of funds, focus and facilities. VIVA Foundation fights to put this on the agenda of institutions, by catalysing research, building state-of the-art facilities, supporting doctors and training nurses.

VIVA believes by doing so, it will change the way childhood cancers are being diagnosed and treated throughout the region, starting with Singapore. Ultimately, this will ensure more children with cancer, regardless of geography, will have a higher chance of full recovery to live out the full potential of their lives as every child deserves a future.

Fundraising can help to raise more and change more lives.
