About Campaignends 31 May 2022, 11:59 PM
These Charity Auctions are brought to you by United Women Singapore as part of our BuyToSave fundraiser, in partnership with luxury reseller LuxLexicon, and Kelly Keak.
Launched in 2005, BuyToSave gathers the best pre-loved designer items at exclusive events and has since amassed a following of regular shoppers. As a socially conscious organisation, we aim towards environmental sustainability by participating in a circular economy while fundraising for a good cause.
The funds raised from the sale will be used to support our local programmes. Our GenSafe Workplaces programme focuses on Anti-Violence and advocates for workplace policies to support the survivors of domestic violence among the employees. Our UWS Boys Empowered programme aims to engage boys to be empowered individuals who will model strength without violence and be proactive bystanders with the skills to prevent situations of violence in our community.
The funds will also be channelled towards the expansion of our flagship Girls2Pioneers programme in Singapore which reaches out to girls to encourage them to take up STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) subjects in their higher education and careers and paving the way for a more gender-equal society.

About the Charity
United Women Singapore is a self-funded non-profit organization that advances women's empowerment and gender equality, and builds a pipeline of women leaders and influencers in Singapore. We work towards narrowing the gender equality gap through education and raising awareness and advocacy on issues such as anti-violence and women's empowerment. We raise funds to support projects and organizations, and actively put issues affecting women on the agenda of leaders and organisations that can make a difference.
United Women Singapore has an Institution of Public Character (IPC) status and all donors are able to claim tax relief from their assessable income based on the amount donated, at the prevailing deduction rate.
