Inaugurated in 2005, the SNOW (Say No to the Oppression of Women) gala dinner is UWS' highly anticipated fundraising event. Each year the Gala sees Singapore's passionate and socially conscious entrepreneurs, philanthropists and members of society come together for an evening of glamour and goodwill.

All funds raised from the gala will go towards UWS' programmes.

Thanks to the generous support of community leaders, philanthropists, corporate partners, and compassionate individuals like yourselves, we have benefitted over 30,000 individuals through the years. This was done through our STEM programmes, UWS Girls Empowered and UWS Boys Empowered programmes, to equip youths with the skills, knowledge and confidence to overcome challenges and achieve their fullest potential in all spheres of their lives.

With your help, UWS will be able to continue its mission to help women and girls maximise their full potential and empower them to become future leaders.

About the Charity

United Women Singapore is a self-funded non-profit organization that advances women's empowerment and gender equality, and builds a pipeline of women leaders and influencers in Singapore. We work towards narrowing the gender equality gap through education and raising awareness and advocacy on issues such as anti-violence and women's empowerment. We raise funds to support projects and organizations, and actively put issues affecting women on the agenda of leaders and organisations that can make a difference.

United Women Singapore has an Institution of Public Character (IPC) status and all donors are able to claim tax relief from their assessable income based on the amount donated, at the prevailing deduction rate.
