About Campaign

In support of Giving Week, Thye Hua Kwan launched the "Craft of Hope" campaign which seeks to bring pieces of pottery, imbued with the unique personality of each person with disabilities, to the public eye.

Steeped in emotions, these imperfect pieces of perfection, products from pottery workshops started in October 2015, have long laid dormant within the THK Home for Disabled @ Eunos for personal viewing - unheard, unseen and kept apart from society, just like many of the residents before they came to our doors.

The pottery pieces are made by hand from start to finish. Hence, each craft is one of a kind, making every piece a priceless gift that people can gift to their loved ones.

These potteries are displayed on the Craft of Hope walls situated at selected malls across Singapore. Members of the public who are keen to purchase have to visit the wall where they can scan a QR code to proceed with payment.

However, in the light of COVID-19, we are moving the sales online to remain supportive for the residents with disabilities.

Your kind donation can help our beneficiaries fulfil their dreams and pursue aspirations.
