Our Campaign Story
ends 03 Jan 2016, 11:59 PMI donated to Home Nursing Foundation earlier this year after receiving a mailer along with my bill from my telco. My experience with donating to charities in Singapore has been quite pleasant. I get my tax deductable benefits and sometimes I get a newsletter or two from the organisation.
Home Nursing Foundation is the first charity that sent me a thank you letter, a note on my tax deductable status and a corporate newsletter. My first reaction was "Wow!". I really feel valued as a donor. Nevermind I only donated $200, it made me felt like I REALLY made a difference.
Fast forward to December, I stumbled upon the Mediacorp show on Channel 8 (The Joy Truck: http://goo.gl/1DjJ7i) showcasing the wonderful work that their nurses do. It gives me more reasons to support them and start this campaign to get more people to donate towards their cause.
During this festive (and year-end bonus) season, do a small part to help the needy. Support my campaign for the Home Nursing Foundation.
P.S. To start the ball rolling, I would be contributing $300. :)
About The Charity
Founded in 1976, Home Nursing Foundation is the oldest and most established charity organisation that provides home healthcare in Singapore. We deliver comprehensive care programmes that are dedicated to our patients, regardless of their income level. From nursing to medical care, to looking after patients' social well-being and other practical needs, we bring care and support into the homes of those in need.
We depend on the generosity of the public and organisations to provide funding to enable us to serve our patients. Our patients needs are our primary concern and your donation will go towards supporting the most needy of them. All donations to HNF qualify for 250% tax deduction. All tax exemption receipts will be emailed, and hard copies are upon request only. For more information, please visit our website at www.hnf.org.sg
