About Campaign

In case you haven't heard, we're moving out (and into a new home really soon)!

We became aware that TNS will be evicted from our current premises at Marine Parade Community Building in June 2019. Despite protracted negotiations, we will not be able to return to Marine Parade Community Club post-renovations, effectively losing our home where we have created and staged many iconic works such as Gemuk Girls, Best Of, and Underclass. This will be a monumental moment in TNS' history, seeing as we've been housed at the same location for the last 21 years. Over the years, we have also supported numerous artists by free use of our space for their work, so our eviction has a wider impact on the general performing arts scene.

After a long search for a new home, we are happy to share that TNS has found a suitable space of about 4,000 sqft in a light industrial building, which we can transform into a rehearsal and workshopping space as well as storage.

We need your help to make our space rehearsal-ready, to reach our fundraising goal to offset the hefty renovation costs. Any amount would be much appreciated, but as a guide, we've broken down the overall campaign amount into the following items:

Marley Mats: $4,000 total
Acoustic Curtains: $5,000 total
Lighting System: $10,000 total
Air-conditioning System: $18,000
General Works (Walls, Flooring, Electrical): $72,000 total
Total goal amount: $112,000

Your generosity will go a long way in helping us build our new home. Thank you!
