About Campaign
ends 14 Feb 2021, 11:59 PMHowever, in September 2020, the situation changed. Mrs Tan was hospitalised and she was unable to continue caring for her husband due to her own medical condition. Mrs Tan then made the difficult decision to admit Mr Tan into Peacehaven Nursing Home. Initially, Mr Tan found it challenging to adjust but as time passed, he warmed up to the staff around him. Our staff was able to engage with Mr Tan and ensure that he is well cared for at the Home. Despite being apart from his wife, Mr Tan is grateful to Peacehaven for meeting his needs and for allowing him to enjoy quality time with his wife during their visits.
At The Salvation Army, we are committed to looking after people in need like Mr Tan. Through our wide range of social programmes, we care for the elderly, vulnerable children, struggling families, underprivileged youth and isolated migrant workers. Let us not forget the underprivileged and please give generously to bring joy into their lives.
