About Campaign

The Eurasian Association (EA) celebrates its 100th anniversary next year! As always, our focus is on what is at the heart of our mission: offering a hand to the vulnerable in our community. The EA supports underprivileged youth to reach their potential through scholarships and bursaries. It assists the elderly and families-at risk with food rations, transport, and a listening ear.

In our centennial year, we have an ambitious goal to raise $500,000 to fund these worthy initiatives. Join us at our Charity Fundraising Dinner on 11 May 2019 at the JW Marriott South Beach Hotel and help us reach out to those who need our compassion. DPM Tharman Shanmugaratnam will be our Guest-of-Honour. Donation tables are available at $5,000, $10,000, and $20,000. Alternatively, you can also choose to purchase an individual seat as a donation at $500, $1,000 and $2,000 respectively.

If you are unable to join us, you can help with a monthly or one-time donation. The EA and the community we serve sincerely appreciates your generosity.

Should you wish to learn more about our projects and how we utilize the funds, please contact Hazel Soe at [email protected] for more details.

About the Charity

The Eurasian Association has a long history of serving the interests of the Eurasian community in Singapore since its inception in 1919. In 1994, the EA was formally accorded 'Self-Help Group' status by the Government to act on behalf of the Eurasian community in Singapore. The EA provides services for the community in three key areas: Educational Advancement, Family Support Services and Community Development.

As part of its mandate of serving the community, the EA works towards preserving the unique Eurasian heritage and traditions, as well as increasing awareness about Eurasians in Singapore. The Eurasian Community House is the home of the EA and Eurasian Heritage Centre, and is a focal point for the Eurasian community and a platform for us to work together for the good of the community.

Fundraising can help to raise more and change more lives.
