$180
Your $180 donation will enable ONE POTENTIAL MARROW DONOR to be added to the register and increase that unique chance of finding a match to a patient! Thank you.
$500
Your $500 donation gives a ONE MONTH allowance to a patient during their post-transplant period. This is part of the BMDP's Patient Subsidy Fund to support patients' post-transplant expenditures.
About Campaign
ends 31 Mar 2023, 11:59 PMTo survive, a patient will require a marrow transplant when most other treatments have failed. But such transplant costs start from at least $70,000 and can go up to hundreds of thousands. The stem cell procurement has to be paid in cash.
Their recovery journey is equally long and painful, with sustaining treatment costs that continue to remain high until they are fully well to contribute back to society.
Your SUPPORT is NEEDED with a kind donation to let patients know that they are not alone in their daily fight to live.
**** Every $1 donated =$2 to the cause!
YES! This is possible because the government and Toteboard will match every dollar donated to this matching fund campaign! ****
Your donation will fuel the work behind saving the life of a patient and ensure important financial subsidies remain available to them.
These subsidies aid at different stages of their journey - such as Procurement, Transplant-Related costs (e.g. medication, procedures), and Post- Transplant Allowances, all to ease the stress of financial burdens.
Give STRENGTH and SUPPORT to patients and their loved ones and let them know they are not alone in their battle to survive.
Thank you!

About the Charity
Blood diseases such as Leukaemia, Lymphoma and Myeloma can strike any one at any time. When all other treatment has failed, a bone marrow transplant is their only chance of survival.
When patients are unable to find a matching donor within their family, they come to us in search of a Matched Unrelated Donor (MUD), who could give them a second chance at life. As finding a MUD means a healthy donor with the same DNA profile, the odds of finding that unique match is very low.
Thus since 1993, we at the Bone Marrow Donor Programme (BMDP) are committed to building and managing Singapore's only register of volunteer marrow donors. Providing hope for patients suffering from blood-related diseases.
