About Campaign

Did you know?

The battle for a patient struggling with blood cancer (such as leukaemia and lymphoma) is painful. Survival often depends on a life-saving bone marrow transplant. The treatment cost remains very high. The transplant cost starts from $70,000, and the procurement of the stem cells has to be paid in cash.

Each of us face our individual struggles and 'fights' in our daily lives. Will you take a moment though, to help needy patients in their 'fight' too?

Our patients reach out to you with #HelloFromTheOtherFight seeking your care and HELP to FIGHT BESIDE THEM in their BATTLE TO LIVE. Your donation can go a long way.

**** Every $1 donated =$2 to the cause!
YES! This is possible because the government and Toteboard will match every dollar donated to this matching fund campaign! ****

Your donation will fuel the work behind saving the life of a patient and ensure the much needed financial subsidies remain available to them.

FIGHT BESIDE US to let patients and their loved ones know they are NOT ALONE in their struggles.

FIGHT BESIDE US to SAVE LIVES and make this 2nd chance at life a reality for each patient.

Thank you!

About the Charity

Blood diseases such as Leukaemia, Lymphoma and Myeloma can strike any one at any time. When all other treatment has failed, a bone marrow transplant is their only chance of survival.

When patients are unable to find a matching donor within their family, they come to us in search of a Matched Unrelated Donor (MUD), who could give them a second chance at life. As finding a MUD means a healthy donor with the same DNA profile, the odds of finding that unique match is very low.

Thus since 1993, we at the Bone Marrow Donor Programme (BMDP) are committed to building and managing Singapore's only register of volunteer marrow donors. Providing hope for patients suffering from blood-related diseases.
