Aside from the annual Festival, SGIFF also runs a year-long Film Academy, which supports budding filmmakers with mentorship programmes; cultivates creative collaborations and conducts interactive programmes to introduce the art of film.

Our latest addition, the SGIFF Film Immersion Programme (FIP), brings different facets of the industry to educational institutes to expose students to Singaporean and Southeast Asian stories; Stories that are a reflection of the community around them. In 2018, we engaged over 500 youths and in 2019, we were able to triple that number!

Championing these voices makes it possible for the next generation to step up and tell their stories. For the film makers today and the film makers of tomorrow, we have started our 30 for 30 campaign!

We aim to raise $30,000 for our education programmes in 2020 and continue growing our outreach.

Your support of $30 makes a huge difference!

All donations are matched dollar for dollar by the Cultural Matching Fund and are eligible for a 250% tax deduction.

About the Charity
