Tote Board will match the donation amount for this campaign. T&Cs apply.

Physiotherapy is crucial for the well-being of our elderly residents. Many of our current physiotherapy equipment is now old and worn. We need dedicated equipment to cater for 150 residents in our new building, which we plan to move in in October 2021.

Our elderly residents enjoy Personalised Physiotherapy Programme, keeping them from deteriorating to disability. A professional physiotherapist assesses our residents, plans suitable programmes, monitors progress and guides our physiotherapy-aides to conduct the programme for each resident.

These include exercises under the Individual Care Plan, mass physiotherapy sessions, cognitive and recreational exercises and bed-side exercises.

"Making The Moves" is a fundraising campaign to raise funds for the Home to purchase physiotherapy equipment for the elderly residents.
The campaign will run from 15 Aug 2021 to 14 Aug 2022.

About the Charity

Established in December 1958, St. John's Home for Elderly Persons is a Sheltered Home for elderly persons who are ambulant and aged above 60.

Our Mission is to provide shelter and care to meet the physical and spiritual needs of elderly persons who have no home and no children or close relatives with adequate resources to care for them.

The Home is open to all regardless of race or creed.

We are not a Government-subvented Home and depend largely on the public's generosity to enable us to continue our work. Your donations will be greatly appreciated.

Fundraising can help to raise more and change more lives.
