About Campaignends 31 Oct 2017, 12 AM
Due to urbanisation and the need to maximise land use, we are required to return to the Government two-thirds of the land that have served us well for the past 60 years.
The estimated construction cost of $12 million for a new building is a huge sum of money, especially for a relatively small Charity like St. John's Home. But we need to continue providing for homeless and/or needy elderly persons.
Together, we can build a new, future-ready Home for the Elderly, a place where they can age in comfort, grace and dignity.
Join us on this exciting new journey today!
St. John's Home for Elderly Persons is a Charity that provides long-term residential care for needy and/or homeless elderly persons regardless of race or creed. Due to urban planning and the need to maximise land use, the Home is raising funds to construct a five-storey building, on one third of our existing land area. The estimated construction cost of the new building is $12 million. We invite you to join us in this exciting new journey of building a new Home for the Elderly, so that our elderly residents will not be displaced when our land lease extension expires. The Home is a recipient of the President's Award for Philanthropy 2014 (Non-profit). Website Link : www.stjohneldershome.org.sg
