Friends @ St. Hildas Link believes in reaching out and touching lives. We provide a drop-in centre for neighbouring elderly residents, whether they are social, lonely or deprived to come together to enjoy daily programmes and activities. We give assistance to the needy and help dysfunctional families cope.
The objectives of the Organization are to initiate, organize and support activities and schemes of social services for the alleviation of poverty, suffering, ignorance or ill-health whether physical or mental, without limitation by age, gender, race, nationality, religion or moral character, by providing assistance, education, training or counseling.
Community Outreach Programmes for the Elderly - Gardening, Zumba, Stretching & Mobility Exercises, Breathing Exercise, Short Mat Bowl, Celebration events for social interaction, Rummikub for the mind.
Programmes for Children - Soccer, Reading & Counting
Programmes for Adults - Conversational English/Mandarin, Singing, Art
Programmes for Special Needs - News Chat, Wheelchair Exercises, Simple Cooking, Reconnecting mentally-ill and disadvantaged with the community
Health - provide day rehabilitative programs and elderly day care programs.
Rehabilitation Therapy - Physiotherapy for preventive, maintenance and rehabilitation of elderly recovering from falls or hospitalization
Care and Welfare of residents within the boundary who are receiving financial assistance from government agencies as well as from the organization, transport service and assistance for hospital appointments, regular home visitation, information and referral, home help services and free medical health checks
