About Us

In keeping with Sree Narayana Guru's teachings, SNM provides a wide range of social service programmes for the less-privileged regardless of race or religion.

SNM operates a 224-bed nursing home, Sree Narayana Mission Nursing Home and two Senior Care Centres for the elderly. One Senior Care Centre is co-located with the Nursing Home in Yishun and offers a Maintenance Day Care Programme. The other Senior Care Centre is located at Woodlands and offers both Maintenance Day Care and Dementia Day Care Programmes.
SNM also manages Meranti Home, a 200-bed psychiatric welfare home for male destitute
SNM also runs community programmes to cater to the needs of the less-privileged including programmes for single mothers, educational financial assistance and befriender services.
SNM is an Institution of Public Character (since 1984).

SNM was one of 67 Charities which received the Charity Transparency Awards 2019, awarded by the Charity Council. The award recognises charities with good disclosure practices that the Charity Transparency Framework (CTF) recommends.

Our Programmes

Share A Pot Programme_ To promote social interaction and simple exercise routine over a bowl of soup for the elderly.
Lend A Hand Programme_ Programme is aimed at young single-parent household.
SNM Helping Hands Programme Programme provides support for the physical, mental, and social needs of residents living in the northern region.
Diabetic Eye and Foot Screening- SNM provides an alternative venue for diabetics to undergo their mandatory annual eye and foot screening and avoid the long ques and waiting times at the hospitals and polyclinics.
Community Health Screening Sessions- An annual health screening programme for the community.
Project Smile - SNM and Project Smile came together to collaborate on a programme to provide single mothers with professional-grade arts and crafts training, the aim is to equip beneficiaries with marketable skills.

LHLH is a ground-up initiative, incepted in 2013 by a group of like-minded individuals who came together to provide festive cheer packs and angpows to isolated elderly, disabled and young needy families living in the rental, and one, two and three-room flats island-wide. SNM collaborated with them in 2018
