About NPO

Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital (KWSH), a 106 year-old charitable healthcare organisation and Institution of Public Character, is committed to looking after the sick and needy. In the last century, it has continued the strong tradition of community service, having cared for many generations of Singaporeans. It is now one of the most established providers in the intermediate and long-term care (ILTC) sector. To cope with the rapidly ageing population, KWSH is currently undergoing redevelopment to be transformed into an integrated community hub, providing healthcare services to its inpatients and the community. In 2017, it will have the largest single-site nursing home with over 600 beds; and expansion in its other services such as rehabilitation, TCM and home care. For more information, please visit
