SPD Ability Walk 2017
About Campaignends 31 Aug 2017, 11:59 PM
In effort to build an inclusive community where everyone is a part of it, and not apart from it, SPD will be organising our 2nd Ability Walk to provide an opportunity for both members of the public as well as people with disabilities (PWDs) to walk with each other. There will also be a post-walk carnival with food, performances and activities aiming to allow participants and the community to know more about disability.
The 3km Walk will be held at Chinese Garden on Sunday, 27 August 2017. Participants, who have signed up for the walk will receive an event t-shirt and goodie bag*. More information is available at http://spdabilitywalk.spd.org.sg
SPD aims to raise $200,000 from this charity event to provide programmes and services such as therapy, early intervention, assistive technology, and education and employment support that help PWDs to become self-reliant and independent.
Join us as we take one step closer towards breaking barriers and unlocking potential of more than 5,000 PWDs. Your support will make a positive impact in their lives. To register for the Walk, head over to http://spdabilitywalk.spd.org.sg. Alternatively, you can also offer your support by making an online donation right here, right now.
