SowCare -the social service arm of The Bible Society of Singapore -aims to serve, empower, and show holistic care to the underprivileged in Singapore and even, beyond the borders. In partnership with Hope Initiative Alliance and more than 100 organisations, they launched the Alliance of Guest Workers Outreach (AGWO). AGWO - an initiative of the Hope Initiative Alliance - provides holistic care for the guest workers, with the help of other organisations and government agencies. Over the past year, there have been many activities catering to their needs. For instance, distributing more than one million Care Meals and 1.2 million medical supplies, hygiene products and other food items to over 200,000 guest workers in 300 dormitories. Not only that, BSS hopes to go a step further, not only catering to their physical needs, but also emotional and psychological needs. An example is on 19 December 2020, a Christmas event was held for the rough sleepers, where both guests and volunteers create meaningful memories through dining, games, and a gift bazaar.

Mother Teresa once said 'In this life we cannot always do great things. But we can do small things with great love.' Therefore, we would like to invite you to partner with us through your giving, so that more lives will be changed and make a difference to our community. Your support is crucial to our cause. Thank you in advance for your effort.

About the Charity

SowCare is a charity arm of Bible Society of Singapore and we aim to serve and empower the underprivileged communities in Singapore and beyond. Through the partnership with various voluntary welfare organisations, we seek to reach out to communities in need locally, beginning with a 'nation' within our nation-the guest workers in Singapore.

Fundraising can help to raise more and change more lives.
