About Campaign

Good health is key to the welfare and quality of life of every animal. While people in Singapore have access to subsidised healthcare, there are no such government run facilities for animals. Vet services are also costly and out of reach for some caregivers.

Recognising the need for accessible and affordable healthcare for animals, SPCA runs Singapore's only not-for-profit Community Animal Clinic to provide quality healthcare at subsidised rates for needy animals (rescued and community animals, pets from low income households).

One case seen involved a family who had been quoted between $1.5k - $2k for treatment for their pet cat, who had a urinary tract obstruction. Unable to afford the fees, they turned to SPCA for help as they did not want to see their beloved pet suffer.

Upon learning the situation, the clinic took the cat in for treatment, who made a full recovery and was taken home by the family.

Relying mainly on public donations, your support is critical in helping us continue providing essential healthcare for over 2,000 needy animals each year, saving lives and promoting health.

About the Charity

The SPCA is a registered non-profit animal welfare charity with IPC status, and our two main objectives are to promote kindness and prevent cruelty to animals.

The SPCA is not funded by the government. Relying mainly on kind donations from the public and fundraising to support the shelter and clinic, inspectorate work and animal rescue services, as well as other initiatives such as our foster care programme, sterilisation programme for community animals, and education and outreach efforts.

Over 100 animals are taken in by the Society every month. Most of these animals are abandoned, unwanted, abused, sick/injured or lost. Our officers have rescued numerous animals, like Gemma, Aiden and Cookie, across Singapore (see above video).

To carry out our animal welfare work, we require over S$3,000,000 annually.

You can make a difference to the animals.

Your kind donation will directly impact upon our operations in providing shelter, food, medical attention and love to the rescued animals that walk through our doors each day.

Your donations are eligible for 250% tax deduction.
