About Campaign
ends 31 Dec 2020, 11:59 PMHere are two cases of the many SPCA attends to annually, thanks to YOUR support:
April, a senior Shih Tzu, was rescued from her home due to severe neglect. After a medical examination, a fast-growing tumour was found on her left front paw and her leg needed to be amputated. However, she has recovered well and runs fast when necessary! We have also performed eye surgery to ease the glaucoma in her left eye. April is currently in a foster home awaiting her forever home.
Shuri was brought to SPCA in great pain after being found severely injured under a car. Our veterinary team did everything they could to minimise her pain and discomfort, and to help her heal from the traumatic event. For long-term rehabilitation, Shuri was massaged frequently to enable her to regain movement in her affected limbs and neck. Once her wounds started healing, we began acupuncture treatment and physiotherapy. After four months of intensive care, Shuri recovered and was adopted by the staff who fostered her.

About the Charity
COVID-19 Update: Fundraising has become exceptionally difficult, with major events being cancelled and essential services still running 24/7. We are appealing for help for our needy animals to receive critical emergency care.
The SPCA is a registered non-profit animal welfare charity with IPC status, and our two main objectives are to promote kindness and prevent cruelty to animals.
Relying mainly on kind donations from the public and fundraising, the Society does not receive any government funding or grants, to support the shelter and clinic, inspectorate work and animal rescue services, as well as other initiatives such as our foster care programme, sterilisation programme for community animals, and education and outreach efforts.
Over 100 animals are taken in by the Society every month. Most of these animals are abandoned, unwanted, abused, sick/injured or lost. Our officers have rescued numerous animals, like Gemma, Aiden and Cookie, across Singapore (see above video).
To carry out our animal welfare work, we require over S$2,400,000 annually.
You can make a difference to the animals.
Your kind donation will directly impact upon our operations in providing shelter, food, medical attention and love to the rescued animals that walk through our doors each day.
Your donations are eligible for 250% tax deduction.
