About Campaign

ends 30 Aug 2022, 11:59 PM
Isolation can often lead to depression amongst the elderly. This issue has been exacerbated by the ongoing pandemic. With heightened COVID-19 restrictions in our Home, outings have ceased and visitations are extremely limited.

Help our needy elderly residents keep in touch with our volunteers, befrienders, and their family members by donating: $10, $60, $120, or $220
All donations are 250% tax-deductible.

Your donations will go towards funding the necessary tech equipment for our wards to facilitate as communication tools for our elderly.

Social Engagement is vital to promote happiness and a healthy mental state. With more gadgets, communication would be at their fingertips. They would have more access to speak with others, thus keeping their minds engaged and active.

(Update from 4 April 2022)
We would also like to help our elderly residents who are hard of hearing. With Pocket Hearing Aid Amplifier Devices, they would be able to communicate with ease. This would help to facilitate communication without having to strain their hearing and voices in our Home.

By donating, you can help brighten our residents' days by allowing them to stay connected.
Donations from this tech fund campaign would go towards:
-Tablet devices
-Bluetooth speakers
-Pocket Hearing Aid Amplifier Devices

About the Charity

Society for the Aged Sick (SAS) is a non-profit nursing home that provides long-term residential and respite care services for the elderly, especially the less-privileged.

With a team of committed healthcare professionals and caregivers, we believe in adding years of quality life to our residents through holistic caregiving.

Established in 1968 as a 16-bedded facility, we now have 404 beds in our current location.

We hope to create a home within a home environment where our residents can enjoy professional and individualized care. Every resident is treated with respect, and we affirm that our residents' dignity is at the core of our work.
