After the successful campaign in the inaugural Eye Run/Cycle last year, Team Power Nursing is back again for the 2nd Eye Run/Cycle 2022. This year, the firing power of Team Nursing Power consisting of Sister Lim Mein Chee (team Leader) and Nursing team comprised of Operating Theatre, Outpatients Clinics and Day Ward from SNEC. They will take up an ambitious 1000km run challenge in the upcoming 'The Eye Run/Cycle 2022'. It is organised by The Singapore National Eye Centre (SNEC) and Singapore Eye Research Institute (SERI). It is virtual fundraiser for VisionSave. All the proceeds will go towards for nursing education programs and nursing research.

We hope by running and walking 1000km, we can raise $8,000 in the race to fight blindness.

About the Charity

Launched in July 2016, VisionSave is a novel initiative that taps on philanthropic investment to usher in innovative eye care research, treatment and delivery in Singapore and the region. It also aims to save sight and ensure optimal outcome for every patient.

VisionSave aligns with SNEC and SERI's reputation as a centre of eye care and research excellence in Singapore, as well as the philanthropic spirit of the late SNEC founder Professor Arthur Lim, who modelled a giving spirit in both his personal and professional endeavours.
