Singapore Swimming Association
How Your Donation Makes a Difference
Singapore Swimming Association (SSA) was set up in 1939 and is currently the National Sports Association governing SWIMMING, WATER POLO, DIVING, SYNCHRONISED SWIMMING and OPEN WATER SWIMMING in Singapore.
Aquatics Heart & Hope includes several thrusts, which involves the participation of national athletes from SSA with the objective of giving back to society.
We have national athletes conduct clinics and talks for underprivileged kids and youths-at-risk, impacting sporting values and encouraging them to achieve their own goals in life.
SSA also raises funds via Aquatics Heart and Hope, working with Sportcares, Singapore Disability Sports Council (SDSC), Special Olympics Singapore and Red Cross Singapore amongst other beneficiaries to fund swimming classes for the underprivileged.
SSA hopes that through the Aquatics Heart & Hope, funds raised will help kids, who have the HEART to do well in aquatics and the HOPE that they will be supported throughout their extraordinary journey, to achieve their goals of representing their nation in the near future.
