In 2017, the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth announced that $50 Million will be pledged to match sports donations for 5 years (2017-2022). The fund was created specifically to enhance the High Performance Sports System for Singapore athletes.

Why should I contribute to the fund?
- The government will match dollar for dollar for all contributions received by Rowing Singapore
- Be part of a national movement to support Team Singapore athletes

Where will your money go?
Funds raised and the matching dollar for dollar matching from the government will go towards the following:
- Pathway development for increased awareness and reach for rowing in Singapore
- Coach development to raise the expertise of rowing coaches in Singapore
- Provision of Sports Science and Medicine services
- Enhancing the Training environment for rowing athletes
- Data Analytics and Information to facilitate informed decision-making, improve sporting performance and enhance the efficiency of rowing
- Management Capability to develop and implement clear multi-year sports plan
- Competition Opportunities at the Regional, Continental, World/Olympics levels and their para equivalent.

About the Charity

The Singapore Rowing Association's mission is to be the National Sports Association (NSA) responsible for the administration, development and promotion of rowing in Singapore. We act as the national authority under the World Rowing Federation, and to safeguard the interests of our athletes and members.
