About Campaignends 30 Apr 2018, 11:59 PM
Together with the donations we received via cheque ($13,102.10), we have hit around 67% of our fundraising target of $100,000! It has encouraged us to take the bold decision to go ahead with another Shakespeare in the Park production in 2018.
THE NOT-SO-GOOD NEWS
So with just $67,135.10, we are guaranteed to end this production in the red. But we feel compelled to carry on, anyway.
WHY WE ARE DOING IT ANYWAY
Our loyal Shakespeare in the Park fans expressed disappointment when we announced our forced hiatus.
For them, for the theatre professionals who work with us and to continue contributing to Singapore's vibrant arts calendar with world-class theatre, we have decided to go ahead with another production.
Come May 2018 you will be treated to an exciting, reimagining of Julius Caesar.
KEEP THE SUPPORT COMING!
We still have a long way to go. So please spread the word to family, friends and colleagues to help us reach our $100,000 target and keep Shakespeare in the Park alive.
Any amount you donate will be gratefully accepted, but do note that should you donate $200 or more, you will be eligible for 250% tax benefits.

We have also produced outstanding new musicals such as A Twist of Fate and Forbidden City: Portrait of an Empress. SRT also stages Asia's largest Shakespeare in the Park, has brought together over 250,000 people during the nine productions staged in the series. For younger audiences, SRT's The Little Company (TLC) stages popular titles such as Red Riding Hood and Charlotte's Web. Over 65,000 children, parents and teachers experience the magic of our TLC productions every year. Every year, SRT's Student Education Fund (SRTSEF) enables over 1,500 children to come and watch our TLC productions.
