About Campaign
ends 31 Jan 2023, 11:59 PMWith the firm conviction that children can improve academically in school when provided with a better learning environment, SRC has been working closely with the community in Yishun to run a centre not merely for tuition but also storytelling sessions, mentorship schemes and holiday enrichment programmes.
For as low as $20, children of the programme can attend one tuition session per week for a month. Our volunteers have also stepped in to help with their academic needs, thereby ensuring that the children are well cared for.
Today, SRC has about 80 children under the programme and we are looking to set up another centre in Singapore. By expanding our reach, we can extend assistance to more children and youth living in other areas.
Living in a society based on meritocracy, we cannot choose the environment we are born in, but everyone should have equal opportunities in terms of education. Your gift will empower us to help more children/youth in need, helping them to break out of the cycle of poverty and enhancing their future prospects.
