The Jaafari Muslim Association Singapore (JMAS) was formed in 1998, its objective is to grow the Shia Ithna Asheri muslim community in Singapore. The JMAS community encourages its members to participate in social activities and humanitarian efforts.

JMAS will support the Singapore Red Cross in this special month of Ramadan, to provide food and care packages for about 400 vulnerable people in the community. JMAS support will also go to providing regular assistance for persons with severe disability, disadvantaged families (including children and youths) and Isolated elderly with little to no support.

About the Charity

The Singapore Red Cross (SRC) is a homegrown humanitarian organisation dedicated to relieve human suffering, protect lives and dignity and respond to emergencies since 1949. Our blood donor mobilisation programme, home for the disabled, transport aid, food aid, community led action for resilience, community first aid and training derive from our mission to serve the vulnerable.
