About Campaign

A year ago, we were all asked to #stayathome for the Circuit Breaker.

Including our seniors, who were asked to stay in due to them being more vulnerable or at-risk as compared to you and I.

As we moved into and out of Circuit Breaker as well as the different phases, it's almost like we forgot about our seniors who still stay isolated at home, shut out from the outside world. Loneliness and social isolation are already dangerous to healthy individuals, let alone seniors.

These two are major risk factors that have been linked with poor physical and mental health status for seniors like stress, anxiety, and dementia.

To uplift our seniors' mental wellness, SRC intends to help seniors avoid these factors and statuses by organizing outings and celebrations so that seniors are able to interact and socialise with peers while also being active.

Organised by our SRC volunteers, occasions like CNY, Hari Raya, Deepavali, and Christmas, as well as the seniors' birthdays and outings are eagerly looked forward to by our seniors.

So, where do you come in? For just $5, you can help us gift joy to our seniors to be part of these social get-togethers by covering the costs of food, birthday cakes, venue space etc.

Our target is to be able to organise outings frequently to enable 275 seniors keep active all year round and as often as possible!

Donate, if you can, 1 less bubble tea a week, could mean the world for the beneficiaries!
