About Campaignends 09 Sep 2018, 11:59 PM
In preparation for this competition, the youth team have to undergo grueling trainings till midnight due to one GOAL - to bring home a medal for SINGAPORE in this upcoming tournament.
The late night ice training session have been very arduous to all the boys who are accompanied by their parents, with school or work commitment the following day. Despite so, the entire youth team is very committed to improving their skills and to represent SINGAPORE well in the upcoming tournament.
However, the lack of funding is posing major challenges.
From equipment, rental of ice rink for trainings, transport home past midnight after trainings to air tickets and accommodation for the tournament, all these costs have to be borne directly by parents of the youth team. In view of the hefty financial outlay, some boys are unable to continue training while other eligible players are unable to participate in this upcoming tournament.
But all these issues can be minimised with your help today!
This campaign is created solely to build funding for the youth team (U16) to help defray the following costs:
1) Tournament Training
5) Future Training
The SINGAPORE Youth Ice Hockey Team is very thankful for any kind of support rendered to them as they seek to bring SINGAPORE glory in ice hockey.
