How Your Donation Makes a Difference
Your $10 donation provides training for 1 Pri 5 student to take part in the BP Initiative @ Schools, a programme that aims to raise awareness on the importance of having good blood pressure readings.
Your $30 donation funds 1 session of highly subsidised cardiac rehabilitation, which is currently 85% subsidised by SHF.
Your $50 donation provides transport allowance for 1 needy heart patient who might require frequent and urgent visits to the hospital for medical treatment and emergency relief.
Your $100 donation provides CPR + AED training for 1 individual, increasing the pool of individuals who are trained to respond to cardiac arrests cases and thus improving survival rates.
About Campaignends 31 Mar 2021, 11:59 PM
A big THANK YOU to everyone who has contributed to donate $10,185!
We have resumed operations at all 3 Heart Wellness Centres, prioritising 1-on-1 sessions for clients with moderate to high needs, while conducting weekly FB live exercise demos to remind everyone to keep active.
Our Schools Programme has also resumed, allowing P5 students to learn the importance of monitoring blood pressure levels through blended learning. We have also restarted our CPR+AED & BCLS + AED classes at Bishan HQ. We will constantly strive to promote heart health in Singapore.
This year marks SHF's 50th Anniversary.
We are grateful for your past support and would like to appeal for your continued support to fight against heart disease.
Early studies have shown that those who suffer from heart disease and diabetes appear to be more vulnerable to becoming severely ill with the virus. COVID-19 serves as an important reminder to take care of one's heart health. As such, we appeal to your generosity and hope that you can support by donating.
Help us reach our goal of $50,000 by donating from your heart.
All funds raised will go towards sustaining our community programmes, providing highly subsidized cardiac rehab for patients, equipping the public with resources to perform CPR+AED during cardiac emergencies and supporting needy heart patients.

About the Charity
The death toll from COVID-19 continues to rise at an alarming rate, and early studies have confirmed that those who suffer from heart disease and diabetes appear to be more vulnerable in becoming severely ill with the virus. This reinforces the importance of taking care of one's heart health. As you self-isolate and spend more time at home, we urge you to take care of your heart health. At the same time, we appeal to your generosity and hope that you can support by donating.
The Singapore Heart Foundation (SHF) is a social service agency at the forefront of the battle against heart diseases in Singapore.
Since its inception in 1970, SHF is constantly promoting good heart health so as to prevent cardiovascular disease later in life, via life-saving & community outreach programmes. At the same time, the Foundation also provides financial assistance to needy heart patients through the Heart Support Fund.
The funds raised are used by SHF for its operations and life-saving programmes aimed at promoting preventive measures against heart disease to the public; supporting community-based research aimed at gaining a better understanding of the landscape of heart disease in Singapore; getting more people trained in CPR+AED; providing rehabilitative and preventive care for recovering heart patients and at-risk individuals; as well as offering financial assistance to needy heart patients for emergency relief and treatment.
