About Campaign

The Lunar New Year is a festive period which typically speaks of family reunion. However, big celebrations and reunions this year will not be the same due to COVID-19 social distancing measures. Nonetheless, for some, even small family gatherings are not possible.

Madam Tan* is the main caregiver looking after her two granddaughters as her son is incarcerated. She brings them regularly to Children Outreach @ Children's Society for tele-visits with their father under our Project LADDER programme. This programme is a joint initiative with Singapore Prison Service to allow children aged 16 and below to maintain communication with their incarcerated parent at our centre. Project LADDER seeks to sustain and strengthen positive relationships and connections for families who are affected by incarceration.

Help spread kindness this Lunar New Year and support us in our efforts to strengthen family ties through programmes like Project LADDER. We invite you to embrace the spirit of giving and make a difference in the lives of our beneficiaries through our annual fundraising project, A Little Kindness, Lots of Joy!
