About Campaign

'It is ok at times to cry and let it all out.' Mdm J* shared. Mdm J is abeneficiary who has come a long way after receiving help from Children's Society. The strength of a mother is like no other, and Mdm J's story is a perfect example of this.

Mdm J is a single mother with five children who has had to overcome challenges such as spousal abuse, which caused her to struggle with financial and emotional issues for the past 3 years.

To help her family tide through the difficult period, Yishun Family Service @ Children's Society provided counselling support, applications and referrals to agencies for ad hoc support, regular food rations, and interim financial assistance to support a large part of the family expenditure.

Mdm J is now gainfully employed as a part-time cashier, and her family has recently moved into their new rental flat.

In light of Mother's Day, let's celebrate women who have endured hardships and give extra support to those who might be still struggling in silence.

YFC has a support group for single mothers. The next run is happening early next year. If you or someone you know might need help, you may register your interest at: 6753 7331, or email [email protected]

Your support will help families like Mdm J's, and every donation you make will impact our beneficiaries more than you know.

Donate generously and help make Mother's Day a meaningful one this year!
