About Campaign
ends 31 Mar 2023, 11:59 PMWe are raising funds for setting up a wellness centre to provide persons in recovery, caregivers, and the community, with timely access to programmes that bring forth well-being, recovery and empowerment using recreation, therapeutic intervention, mental health education and life-skills training.
The on-going COVID pandemic has changed our working life, economy, healthcare, and social fabric of the population. It has accelerated the trend of digitalization which transformed the way we live, we learn, and earn a living. Digital technology has helped improve productivity, efficiency, connectivity. But it has also adverse effects on our mental health, with increased probability of burnout and impact the quality of life.
The need for face-to-face communication is more critical than ever before in the post-pandemic world. Studies have suggested that the lack of social connection can result in social isolation and cause mental health issues, especially youths. Research showed that a conducive environment that provides maximum opportunities for social engagement will help to lift the spirit of these youths in their recovery journey and help build their emotional resilience.
SAMH cannot do this alone and we invite more to join us in developing the integrated wellness centre for the mental wellbeing of our community.

With your kind support, we can continue to provide rehabilitative, outreach, and creative services and programmes to persons with mental health issues, and help them recover and reintegrate back into the community.
Your generous gift also counts in funding our efforts to raise public awareness about mental well-being and resilience, as well as reduce the social stigma, and promote acceptance and respect for persons with mental health issues.
