About Campaign

ends 31 Dec 2020, 11:59 PM
The COVID-19 pandemic that we are currently experiencing has resulted in extreme anxiety in the community. For our beneficiaries (clients with mental health, elderly and low-income families surviving on food ration), the stress and anxiety they feel is even greater. The additional hardships faced by distressed and lower-income families when they earn less or lose their livelihoods during this period. The sense of uncertainty and anxiety within this period will affect their mental health. With the suspension of our Wellness Activity Centre, our elderly beneficiaries are also missing their daily exercises, health programmes, health checks, free meals and social interaction. Staying at home more to minimise chances of infection may result in more social isolation of our seniors which affect their well-being. Our Food Ration Distribution Programme (FRDP) has also seen a drop in donation and volunteer involvement impacting the critical help needed by the lower-income families.

As the crisis has deeply impacted the economy which translate to lower donations received and put a halt to our fundraising activities/events. We wish to appeal for generous donations and help for us to maintain our services for the benefits of the needy. Help us ride through this storm together by donating now. Your donations will support our beneficiaries in meeting their basic and healthcare needs in this difficult time. No contribution is too small, we deeply appreciate your kindness and generosity.
